Hello friends, from an airplane on the way to Wenatchee, Washington. I’m headed to the Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies conference, where I have the privilege of speaking. I hope to see some of you there – and if you are there, please come say hi! My session is Friday morning, and yes, I brought artifacts.

I know I’ve been away from this blog, and the reality is that I’ve needed the break this past summer. I’ve got quite a few things happening both personally and professionally and truthfully, I just had way too many irons in the fire and got pretty burned out and exhausted.

All that being said, I’ve got some cool ideas for new pieces on deck, and I hope my break has given you time to catch up on any pieces you missed.

I’ve spent the last week or so working on my recommended reading library. A lot of love and care has gone into creating what I believe to be one of the most comprehensive lists of materials about our movement.

And is the rabies section extra long? Yes. Yes it is.
